Why don't you post?

Over the last couple of weeks, I've been logging on in the evenings after work since I can't log in at the office. It's pretty dead in the evening which wasn't a surprise for me - I assumed that the day was busier (but nothing like it used to be of course). However, I'm currently on vacation so I've been checking up on Soy during the day and I'm seeing that it's not as active as I thought.

A quick look through the members list shows that tons of people are logging in, but I would say that about 95% of those logged on members don't post in anything.

So I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to share why they don't post on threads when they log in.

*Yes, I'm aware that asking members to post in a thread about how people don't post is unlikely to get a lot of replies, but I'm hoping for at least some responses. Additionally, I'm not asking this in my role as a moderator of Soy but just as a long time member*

I only log in hoping to see you PMed me. If not, I gorge on ice cream til I pass out and thus stay logged on while being passed out.

I try to always post when I log in.
But, I too, have noticed people logged in and zero activity from them.

Well now I work and I go to school, so the only times I can post is during my lunch break
OR when I have time after work OR when I have nothing to do! However, I was a little sad that soy has changed tremendously hopefully it will get a little better btw hugs xicana

You post all over the boards when you're on too but I'm talking about all the people that log in constantly and post nothing; it seems like they just lurk. btw hugs back!

You know that's why I started posting again after my last hiatus, because it was so active. Of course I'd be the one to fuck it all up! I'll stop posting if it means Soy will get some life back.

I can't post while at work. I try to on my lunch break but meh. Haha.
Also, when I logon I'm usually on my phone. It gets hard to post sometimes and that's why most of my posts are short and have grammar and spelling problems haha!
