I've been doing my school thing...

Since soy's been down I've actually taught 5 classes at the university level on things regarding Latin America/Haiti/US and race and ethnicity.

Also, have been fortunate to travel to some places... last year I went to Hawaii and Puerto Rico for two separate conferences. I also went to dallas, seattle, vegas, austin, north carolina (winston-salem and asheville), san francisco...

Life's had some crazy ups and downs but overall i'm tryna ride this bitch out... lol.

Hahah no se crean.

What I've really been doing:

1) Working like a slave
2) Going to school
3) Spending time with friends and family
4) Not getting pregnant

Since soy was gone, I did a leap of "faith" and quit the job I had at the time (Only was there bc of the recession. Hated it for so many reasons. First time I quit a job. Told people off. That was fun.) and join this guy with his start up business. Luckily, I enjoy it. It's been a while since I enjoyed work. For now, I can't explain what I do right now and what type of company it is (contract).

Other than that, I been stumped on my blog and on an original idea that I been working on for some time.

I had a job before a while back that was mafia like. To sum it up, that job was the first time I saw someone snort something and that was the Vice President of the company in his office. LOL. Plus the random drug dealings (first time I saw purple weed) and someone bringing a prostitute or stripper to work didn't make it work friendly. LOL. Damn I miss the beach view though.

I traveled to Europe last Summer, it was an amazing experience.

I am currently doing my social work internship, which I love!

And I graduate from college in May!

Trying to be a subsistence farmer. Have a goal to be self-sufficient, living almost completely off the grid by the time I'm 40.
In the meanwhile, doing Jui-Jitsu, writing and working on making my camper van road worthy, for the warmer months of Spring and Summer.
