I can't imagine what folks in Arizona must feel right now knowing that their existence is being viewed as deviant.

boycotting based on "headquarter location"... hmm... idk...

I mean I get it, but IMO, it's only gonna hurt the paisas in my state that work @ those places, & not really help the paisas in AZ...

I understand those concerns and they're completely valid for individuals and families...

However, the measure itself is opening up the doors to further attacks on immigrant communities as a whole. So if this stands next them same paisas won't even have an opportunity to work... anywhere.

I guess that's the way I see it.

I'm sick of what's happening in AZ, méndigos gringos... I'd suggest not to buy gringo's brand stuff as much as you can, just imported mexican supplies and appliances as a way to boycott fucking racist policies.

Does that mean that currently schools do not confirm the legal status of schoolchildren? If so, why don't the illegals attend school in Mexico?

I read some parts of the actual law (the important ones) and this is the one people are irked about:

Quote:
E. A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, WITHOUT A WARRANT, MAY ARREST A PERSON
38 IF THE OFFICER HAS PROBABLE CAUSE TO BELIEVE THAT THE PERSON HAS COMMITTED
39 ANY PUBLIC OFFENSE THAT MAKES THE PERSON REMOVABLE FROM THE UNITED STATES.
Now I am by no means a law student or law major, but shouldn't laws like these outline what a "public offensve that makes a person removable from the U.S" is? Does it exclusively mean "illegal immigrant"? Also, what can the probable cause entail? What if the officer, even after shown an ID, still thinks you're an illegal immigrant and you provided a fake ID, could you still be arrested??

Most of the actual law is actually penalties against employers, smuggling people in (which should, and still is, illegal and a felony of x class - human trafficking, can anyone else say sex slavery?) and traffic codes caused by hiring illegals. ie. you can't stop in the middle of the road to pick up illegals because it impedes traffic e.t.c.

People need to read the actual fucking law for christ sake.

Ain't that some shit.
