i think I've only watched the Wall all the way through, while on acid way back in the early 90's. So for me, thats the only way to view it. I dont know what it is with tweekers and the Lord. I had a friend who was a highly ranked amatuer and then a so so pro boxer. But he eventually went off the rails and started doing a lot of coke/crystal meth while also finding Jesus, and always trying to get me to go to his church, in some industrial park. His hook was that I could still party and do drugs, as long as I asked the Lord for forgiveness! I now wonder if he had brain damage from all his years as a boxer and if soy's tranny has it from all the donkey punches she's taken over the years.

" Proof of Heaven". So far it's hard to keep up but from what I was told and the reviews I read, after the third chapter or so it gets easier to comprehend. It started off as present tender to part tense so that threw me off

I just finished reading Elie Wiesel's All Rivers Run to the Sea and just started And the Sea is Never Full.

Eliezer "Elie" Wiesel KBE (/ˈɛli vɨˈzɛl/; born September 30, 192[1] is a Romanian-born[2] Jewish-American[1] professor and political activist. He is the author of 57 books, including Night, a work based on his experiences as a prisoner in the Auschwitz, Buna, and Buchenwald concentration camps.[3] Wiesel is also the Advisory Board chairman of the newspaper Algemeiner Journal.

When Wiesel was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1986, the Norwegian Nobel Committee called him a "messenger to mankind," stating that through his struggle to come to terms with "his own personal experience of total humiliation and of the utter contempt for humanity shown in Hitler's death camps", as well as his "practical work in the cause of peace", Wiesel had delivered a powerful message "of peace, atonement and human dignity" to humanity.[

Any new recommendations?.. Now that the semester is over, I'd really like to read something other than a boring textbook.

Lately I've been itching for a good read. I just can't decide if for informational purposes or simply entertainment.

IDK why lately I've gotten into the whole "Alien" stuff. Maybe cuz I was watching something on TV a few months back about in the future there being a Hybrid Generation and things like the Quantum Computer. I got half way into it so I'm not sure if anything they were stating was fact or just theory. Pretty interesting stuff, made me start thinking. Maybe cuz I was high..LOL.

Anybody recommend anything?

If your into zombie lore I suggest the Day by Day Armageddon trilogy. The last book is a bit rushed and takes a different style as the first too, but the guy is active military and had to finish it. Still, not bad.

right now I'm reading Boudica Dreaming the Eagle, its a Celtic trilogy I believe.

Today I picked up "Note's of a dirty old Man" by Charles Bukowski
I've seen his name here and there but never read anything by him. Just reading the forward makes it seem like its my kind of thing.

Cool beans! I watch zombie movies but I've never checked out any of the books. I'll see if I have some time to check out the trilogy. It's been a minute since I pick up a book, so this should be a good start.

Thanks, Nelio!

Has anyone read books by Janet Evanovich?
The Plum series has 20 books and highly recommend these books for light reading and laugh out loud pleasure.

Have you read the Hangman's Daughter books? I love historical fiction and mysteries and they combine them both well.

I just downloaded three books by Tom Hasse.
