Has anybody from Colorado been there? Does it look like does in South Park?

LOL I've been there. I haven't seen the South Park episode with it but the food is disgusting there. Gotta be the canned stuff. BUT the atmosphere is kinda cool.. they have different rooms decorated all differently and like some diving show where a guy jumps from a cliff into some water.

Sounds like how Cartman describes it.

Here's a pic of Casa Bonita from the episode:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:711_image_09.jpg

Casa Bonita is a real restaurant located in Lakewood, Colorado, one of Denver's largest suburbs. Its portrayal in this episode is surprisingly accurate, as the real restaurant includes the cliff divers, costumed entertainers, and Black Bart's Cave. The creators said that they, like every kid they grew up with, loved going to Casa Bonita as much as Cartman does in this episode.

Hahahaaha!!! Yup! Looks like it too..

Check out this website that has some pics from the place

http://www.jeffreysward.com/tributes/casabon.htm

It's one of those restaurants that you take everyone that comes to visit from out of town to, but don't eat there yourself regularly.

This place gets worse every year. I only go once a year cuz the kiddos like it. But they don't know any better. Yes they got divers and a man in a monkey suit and this cool ass cave maze kids can run through. But the food is about crap. Like I mentioned in a prior post it reminds me of a TV dinner. Over the years It seems like it is falling apart and don't look up! the ceilings are sick. The smell is nasty, its like open ass in a fan smell with a musky mothball stank thrown in...

My friends in Denver say that kids from High School always go to this restaurant on prom night. They say that it's cheesy, but that people love going there. I didn't believe them when they said that they had cliff divers.
