Default The House I Live In - America's drug war

Has any one watched The House I live In? It is such an amazing documentary, it helps you understand so many things, that maybe we already know but it gives you an explanation for them. I like to call it a semester's worth of social work in an hour and a half. If you have seen it, or once you do, come back and join the discussion on how to combat this great problem.

Trailer here:

Watch it here, you can try and find pages that stream it for free, I haven't tried honestly it is worth every penny:

I am not in class, so I have a semi-idea of when midterms are depending on what my roommates are doing but definitely check it out once the commotion is over.

I was watching the trailer to see what they'll bring up waiting to see if they'll talk about the prison industrial complex's role in this, and they did as well as law enforcement's economic incentives, so it looks good, I might get around to watching it, if it's on youtube that is I do like documentaries but I like text sources more, you can cite them in debates, nobody takes youtube sources seriously

I agree.

I think they get their information and stats from a written source.

Default The House I Live In (America's Failed Drug War)

Yo everyone... hope you all can peep out this recently released documentary on the war on drugs in this country and it's failures and disproportionate attack on black folks and to a lesser extent brown and white folks...

It's streaming and the link is below... it seems like a good conversations starter...

Hi freedom, I had actually already threaded about this here:

However, there was no free link when I posted it, so I am glad that PBS is showing it now!

It'd be nice if weed was legalized too though.

I still hate that broads sign. She needs to be kicked right in her soft ovaries!
