Default The Road to Celaya

Hello, I'm back again. (Applauses) LOL.

I am currently doing a new movie project. This time is a short film called The Road to Celaya. An orignal story based on the events before and during the attacks on Celaya's gas pipelines by the EPR guerrilla.

Controversial? You bet.

I just created a blog dedicated to this short film project, where I will write periodical comments about production processes, as well as jot in ideas or document as a journal.

http://celayamovie.blogspot.com/

You can find information as time passes, until my deadline, December 2007!

Any opinions or comments, please let me know.

Is Gibson co-directing this movie with you? I hope not

I look forward to seeing this when its finished. When & Where are you going to show pre-screenings of this film?

To the first question... it's a big NO. LOL!! Could you imagine crazy Mel doing a flick on Mexican guerrilla warfare.

It is going to be officially screened in December at Texas A&M International University, this is in Laredo, Texas.

I know some people nearby, in Encinal, Cotulla, McAllen and surrounding areas towards Corpus Christi are really into making indie films. I hope they could see it. Something is happening down here, film-wise. I hope is something good and steady. It has to do with border issues, i guess.

Pre-screened? Haven't though about it...

Never in L.A, lol.

WHen i read the title i thought it was about when Pancho VIlla went to Celaya and was defeated by Obregon .

But this still sounds good. But laredo is 6 hrs away.

I know. I actually did like the title, because it also reminded me of Villa's siege of Celaya.

We were missing you bro.

Sounds like a good idea for a documentary since no one has done it before.

lol, y not. We dont have to do much. I mean shit, go to H-E-B, get their fully cooked briskets and wrap them in foil and set them on the pit for an hour or 2. Have some sour cream and maybe some pico de gallo and some avocate. and we set. Some limon tambien. Man, we used to do that and just drink out back. Course we had store bought tortillas de MAIZE.
