Default Prayers in a Song (Language Revitalization)

http://theways.org/story/prayers-in-a-song

I've been using this song to teach some stuff about Indian removal and genocide here in the United States. I think it's important for us to always remember that Native folks are still contending with the active damage and onslaughts of settler societies and the residues of colonization and conquest.

This is good, don't hear that many songs from urban indians, even though most of us are urban nowadays

Yeah man... U should peep out mare advertencia lirika. I think that's how u spell it. But she's a native womyn from Oaxaca who rips shit. She has a soundcloud page. I'll post it later when I'm not on my phone.

But yeah, I still think that this kinda channel, music that is, is still a powerful ass tool for folks, especially young folks to learn shit.
