Did you watch it?

Sure. You seem to ignore that a thread had already been made about it.

I was unaware this video had already been posted.
Can you give me a link?

Re: Global Warming Swindle

It's probably bc it was posted more than a year before you joined.

If it was posted a year before I joined then how could I be ignoring it?

How can I ignore it if I didn't even know it existed?

BTW are you going to comment or not?

 ... because that's precisely the definition of "ignore".

Ignore:

ORIGIN: Latin ignorare ‘not know’.

to pay no attention to sth _ synonym: disregard

to fail or refuse to notice; disregard

And indeed, you didn't know, you failed to notice that there was already a thread made about it, when a simple search would've shown you that it was the case.

I don't really plan to, one because I'm studying for more important stuff, and two because you wouldn't read the answer.
But if you want a condensed version: a reiteration of already disproven "denier" points mixed with blatant intellectual dishonesty.
Basically an answer to the video would be pretty much a remake of the previous answers I made: citations, references and links to numerous peer-reviewed papers dissecting these arguments and proving them wrong.
In other words, long-ass posts that you won't read. So ... not interested.

lol so now I am supposed to do a search prior to any post. wow.

Re: Global Warming Swindle

Since the video is over a year old and has been extensively talked about already, yes, making sure no one talked about it here before is simple common sense.

How hard is it to simply type "global warming swindle" and click "search"?

On a side note, aren't you happy you just learned a new word?

Unido 01-21-2009 01:48 PM

Re: Global Warming Swindle

Why didn't you give a rebuttal for the first video?

miguelito21 01-21-2009 01:56 PM

Re: Global Warming Swindle

It was a year and a half ago, I don't remember. Why do you care?

miguelito21 01-21-2009 02:00 PM

Re: Global Warming Swindle

Can you justify that claim with anything substantial?

A cartoon ... how surprising.

Is it because peer-reviewed papers don't contain funny little cartoons and nice little pictures with bright colors that you are incapable of reading them?

Face it, you couldn't come up with anything against the video a year ago, you have nothing now, and you never will.

lol

Bundle up, it's cold outside.

Re: Global Warming Swindle

Had you read the posts made and/or the papers cited in this thread, you would know that pretty much everything that is mentionned in the video has already been debunked.
Also, in threads prior to the one about this video (the one more than a year), I had already adressed many of the points they make, and provided ample documentation and references. And I'm not really fond of repeating myself over and over again to people who don't even bother to read what I post because a) there's no cartoon in it, b) it's long and c) it tears their arguments appart. So that's probably the reason why I didn't post yet another ignored refutation.

Read the threads and see for yourself, it's all there.

Unido 01-22-2009 04:01 PM

Re: Global Warming Swindle

lol like I said you still have nothing.

Are you cold?

Or are you too lazy? Or maybe too scared to get your ass handed to you once again? Like in this thread where you just kept running and running away from debate until you finally left without response. Worse than a mocoso crying at a kids debate contest 'cause he can't answer shit. Pathetic.

Unido 01-23-2009 07:15 AM

Re: Global Warming Swindle

ok if I am too scared then why am I still here?

miguelito21 01-23-2009 04:44 PM

Re: Global Warming Swindle

You're here but always ignore the points/rebuttals that are presented to you.

If you ain't scared to get "your" arguments torn apart, then what is it?
It can't be lack of interest: you've made more than half a dozen threads in the environment section, and posted in numerous others.
It can't be lack of time: you post close to 20 posts a day, way more than most ppl on this site.

So either you're mentally incapable of comprehending scientific papers, or too intellectually dishonest to admit "your arguments" have been proven wrong, or too scared to even read the rebuttals. Either way, it's not very positive.
