Re: Eyebrown Threating

I've never done it either, but I have heard it's better than waxing or tweezing.

I tweeze my own eyebrows because I don't trust anyone else to do it

Its an hilo but it thick. like a wire. It Just Feel Like their Picking Your Skin .... i Don't realliy like it at times It's like tweezing but much faster.. I like it better because they can take out the hair one by one..
It shold cost about 10 and up..

WHAT IS THREADING?
By using a piece of thread, hair can be removed swiftly yet meticulously from the most delicate areas of the face. Facial threading is the best alternative to waxing and tweezing, especially for sensitive skin. Unlike waxing, threading does not remove a layer of skin, which may cause sun damage. Threading is by far the least invasive method of facial hair removal, leaving the skin clean and smooth.
Originated in the Middle East, threading has been practiced for centuries. Only a handful of salons and spas offer this exclusive service. Due to the lack of training programs available, many skin care professionals either do not know about threading or are unfamiliar with the process of threading. Enessa has taken the traditional method of threading a step further, by combining it with aromatherapy skin preparations for optimum results.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
By knotting the thread and creating a trap, hairs are caught and forced out by the root. The rapid back and forth movement, removes the hair in efficient manner. Depending upon the client's needs, hair can be removed individually or a few at the time.
BENEFITS OF THREADING VS. WAXING:
Does not peel off a layer of skin.
Hair does not grow back as fast.
Skin does not get as red and irritated.
Can pull out individual hairs.
Hair does not need to be long, but just above the skin.
Will not produce more hairs or make hairs stronger.
Will pick up the finest hairs from the skin surface
Leaves skin smooth
Threading is an acquired skill that one must learn from a trained professional. It is a craft that requires time and practice in order to perfect. Threading is an art form, creating clean lines with precision while refining the appearance of the face. Threading is the answer for those who are looking for a natural and beneficial technique of hair removal.

Re: Eyebrown Threating

I've seen them threading at my salon and I heard that they can get the tiniest and finest little hairs with threading. I have never done it because I prefer to tweeze my own eyebrows.

Hi Linda!!! nice to "see" you again.

I used to get them threaded, not anymore, I kind of dont have the patience. I learned how to do it more than 10 years ago from an Indian lady.

I like threading! It doesnt hurt too much. Most places depending on were you live you can pay as little as 5 bucks.. I have had the chance to learn it and while i dont use it on clients its just something to put on paper. I rather use sugar hair removal on my clients it a good way to make some money. All types of skin can use it and since its not a hot substance you dont have to worry about a layer of skin coming off. Its not messy really unless you dont know what you are doing. But usually you have to be certif. to purchase the sugar product. I had taken the course while I was in school so it wasnt that pricey.yay for me!!
