They asked me if I would ever go back there
I replied no, I would never go back to the hood
The place I once called home
There been to many killed and I cant look in the eyes of a child
Cuz I know if I did I would see the pain that lies behind them
There growing up to fast and they have seen way to much
I've been gone for two years and nothing gotten better
Now we got teen killing kids and way to many mothers and father crying
When does it stop, when does the killing stop
When will it be safe to have the kids be kids and not always have to look over there shoulders
How much bleed has to hit the grown before we stand up and say its enough
All I can say is HOPEFULLY it before your child becomes the one hurt or killed
To all my friends that died I miss you all
