alcohol Drinks for big party ?'s

Whats a good inexpensive alcoholic drink to make for a big party?

I have margaritas on the list but I need some other ideas.

but if your looking for a specific drink, there really isnt one.

Rum and Coke and Bourbon and coke is good, can be cheap, and light on the work duty.

You dont have to buy the expensive stuff either. Might i suggest Flor de Cana for the rum. Its good and smooth and you can get a good deal on it, at least here in TX.

I have been drinking a bourbon called EARLY times, it has a yellow label. Pretty smooth and at 13 bucks a bottle, a good deal. Only thing is comes in one size and thats the 750ml.

Try Sangria.. A couple of Cheap bottle of wine and a bottle of Brandy can go a long way

* 1/2 cup brandy
* 1/4 cup lemon juice
* 1/3 cup frozen lemonade concentrate
* 1/3 cup orange juice
* 1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry red wine
* 1/2 cup triple sec
* 1 lemon, sliced into rounds
* 1 orange, sliced into rounds
* 1 lime, sliced into rounds
* 1/4 cup white sugar (optional)
* 8 maraschino cherries
* 2 cups carbonated water (optional)

Directions

1. In a large pitcher or bowl, mix together the brandy, lemon juice, lemonade concentrate, orange juice, red wine, triple sec, and sugar. Float slices of lemon, orange and lime, and maraschino cherries in the mixture. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor. For a fizzy sangria, add club soda just before serving.

I've used this before .. skip the sugar and the club soda... (Triple sec is good but it's ok if you don't have it.. omitting it won't kill the recipe) and use Sprite/ 7up or ginger ale.. I usually serve from a bowl or pitcher... ..

Fill glass with Ice and a quarter glass of Sprite and fill the rest with sangria .. stir with a spoon.. Awesome stuff!!

You could tap a watermelon?

Cut a good size hole (softball size maybe) hole in the top of the watermelon (keep the rind from the hole to use as a lid) , scoop out all the insides (the smaller scoops the easier it is to refill..)



Grab a bottle of clear alkihal.... Rum, Vodka or if you're feeling cheap and want to fuck some people up.. Everclear.... Poor alkihal in the water melon shell and put all the watermelon meat back in... cover leave out in the sun for a day.. chill and serve...

Just buy a shitload of orange juice and tequila of choice and grenadine syrup for the tequila sunrises.
The Malibu and Vodka goes without saying. You can also mix Cranberry Juice and Vodka.

Some Kahlua, Irish cream, and a dab of cinnamon is pretty good to.

My nephew got me hooked on grey goose and cranberry juice. A coworker told me to try grey goose with grape cranberry and it tasted like a grape jolly rancher.It was so good until i stood up and dam! It hit me!lol!

When i was in school i'd hear friends talk about jungle juice. It must be the same as trashcan juice. I never tried it but heard its a bunch of stuff thrown into punch and it was strong

Thanks. Hubby has 1/2 bottle of captain morgan and i know in the past he's drink that with coke. He heard shasta tiki punch goes good with morgan too.

Mojitos are those like a minty drink? if so I dont like mint.

dh just checked the bar cabinet. he found a brand new strawberry margarita mix, 1/2 bottle of captain morgan, a new bottle of gernadine and I'm about to finish up the lime bottle of margarita
