We bought tickets to take the kids to the circus .. then Guero's cousin and his kids, and his friend all showed up when we were ready to leave ..

So we did a carne asada instead - turned out really nice .. then when they were all leaving, and we were breathing a sigh of happiness at being alone, Pedro and his buddy pulled in the drive ..

I don't know if you know this or not, but Kansas is still a death penalty state .. I keep saying this over and over .. and over and over .. reminding myself WHY I can't use my sharpened pencil and scissors ..
